The award-winning JMU Libraries Magazine
Posted on: June 27, 2022
Our first-ever JMU Libraries Magazine celebrates our successes from the last two years and recognizes the students, scholars, staff, and donors who worked with us to accomplish great things for our community at JMU and beyond.
The JMU Libraries Magazine won an award! Our magazine was selected as the winner of the American Library Association’s PR Xchange Award for libraries in the $15-20 million budget category in the External Communications category. The award “recognizes the very best public relations materials produced by libraries in the past year. Entries are evaluated on content, originality, and design by a team of experts in public relations, graphic design, communications, and marketing.” View the press release and list of 2022 winners.
Special thanks to the team who worked on the magazine, including Jenne Klotz, Kristen Shuyler, Heather Holsinger (CISR), Bethany Nowviskie, and Emily Blake. Thanks also to all the students, scholars, staff, and donors whose work the magazine represents.
