JMU Digital Accessibility Awareness Course

Get an introduction to the fundamental concepts and applications of digital accessibility, with a focus on creating accessible digital content.

This online, self-paced course is for members of the JMU community who work on digital content, such as JMU websites, applications, documents, presentations, and online learning materials.

Why digital accessibility matters: Digital accessibility helps make it easier for anyone, including people with disabilities, to use and understand online information. It makes electronic resources effective for all users, regardless of ability, disability, or the need for assistive technology. By considering these needs, we can promote the general good by building a more inclusive environment for everyone.
