Thanksgiving Hours in the Libraries

During Thanksgiving Break, all JMU Libraries locations will be closed from November 22 through November 29, 2025. Additionally, we offer modified hours on Friday, November 21 and Sunday, November 30.

Please check our Hours page before visiting a library location during Thanksgiving Break. 

What’s available when the Libraries are closed? The 24-hour space in Rose Library will remain available to swipe in with your JACard. As always, our online resources, including e-books, online journals, and databases, will remain available even when the buildings are closed. 

If you are working on a research project while we’re closed, you can still browse our collections online, submit requests for books and scanning services, and more. Check out our FAQ with tips for moving your research forward during JMU closures.
