Designing an Accessible Syllabus for Inclusive Learning: A Workshop for JMU Faculty & Staff

Posted August 23, 2024 in Instructional Design News, JMU Libraries News

Access to your class syllabus is vital for the success of an ever-evolving diverse population of JMU students. Join our new workshop for JMU faculty and staff to explore the multiple paths of representation for an inclusive and accessible syllabus and learn about applying universal design for learning (UDL) to your syllabus.

After taking this workshop, led by a group of JMU faculty affiliated with the Center for Faculty Innovation, College of Education, College of Health and Behavioral Studies, College of Arts and Letters, and JMU Libraries, you can also request follow-up consultation, co-design, or co-development services to prepare your courses for Spring and Summer 2025 semesters.
