Interlibrary Loan Available While Carrier Library is Closed

As we prepare for the Carrier Library renovation and expansion, we are committed to providing you continued access to the global network of libraries who share their materials for free through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

What you need to know:

ILL staff are moving to temporary offices this week. This may cause longer turnaround times for some ILL services. However, all services will continue to operate and you may continue to request items.
Carrier Library will close on May 11 at 5pm. The renovation will begin this summer and our new building is expected to open in Fall 2026.
While Carrier is closed, you will pick up physical ILL items at a different library location. You should update your ILL account if Carrier Library is your default delivery location.
This summer, professional movers will relocate library collections to their interim locations in preparation for construction. You can still request books and other library items from our collections or Interlibrary Loan. Delivery of some items may be delayed.
