About me

Since beginning my work with the Libraries in 2013, I’ve held several positions that have given me insight into Libraries spaces and services. In my current role, I spend time supporting space planning across Libraries, connecting with colleagues and users on space use inquiries, updating Libraries hours, maintaining building signage and floor plans (Carrier / Rose), and overseeing facilities-related data. I love that my job provides opportunities for a mix of physical and technical work – on any given day I might be shuffling furniture and also combing through spreadsheets, all in an effort to help our spaces serve our communities.

About Facilities Operations

We are responsible for routine building operations and space usage in the Libraries’ facilities. We collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to keep library spaces functioning as an essential part of the Libraries’ service offerings to the community. This work includes setting operating hours, coordinating access and space use requests, writing public use policies, and managing library maintenance and space planning projects.

About Finance, HR, and Facilities

We are responsible for the general finance, human resources, and facilities operations within the Libraries.
