In my role as Director of Collections, I support and direct activities related to the licensing, procurement, and discovery of JMU Libraries’ collections. I serve as the chair of the Collection Management Committee and collaborate across departments to ensure good stewardship of materials resources, and that collections acquisitions and maintenance processes align with JMU Libraries goals and values.
About Collection Administration
We license, acquire, and manage scholarly resources and academic software to meet the research needs of the JMU community. Our Collections Administration Team facilitates discovery and ensures seamless access to scholarly content.

We are the leadership team for Discovery, Access, and Technology (DATech).

We are responsible for collections, metadata, and technology. Departments include Access and Delivery, Interlibrary Loan and Course Reserves, Metadata Strategies, Collection Administration, Scholarly Communications Strategies, and Technology.
