Two Open Leadership Positions – Head of Research & Engagement for Digital Scholarship & Distinctive Collections and Director of Access & User Services

JMU Libraries seeks two leaders to join the Academic Engagement Unit.
The Head of Research & Engagement will lead and coordinate the outreach, instruction, and research services for the Digital Scholarship & Distinctive Collections Department. This position will help create a vision for operations alongside the opening of new and expanded department spaces, including a dedicated classroom and Reading Room. The starting salary range is $78,000-80,000.
The Director of Access & User Services will lead the teams who staff our Libraries locations, support collections circulation and access, and help answer questions and connect users to experts through our Ask the Library service. This position will be key for aligning and delivering high-quality services across the newly renovated and expanded Carrier Library, Rose Library, and Music Library. The starting salary range is $90,000-95,000.
Both positions are full-time, twelve-month, tenure-track with instructional faculty status.
