Celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month
Posted on: October 4, 2022
All October long, join us in celebrating the creations and contributions from members of the expansive LGBTQ+ community. LGBTQ+ History Month was first recognized in 1994 and aims to champion the stories of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer/questioning histories, historical figures, and civil rights movements.
Movies to watch
Check out the LGBT category and Pride Collection on Kanopy – an award-winning video streaming service providing access to more than 30,000 independent and documentary films, available to you for free as a member of the JMU community.
