Recording

The Makery offers studio locations in both Carrier and Rose Library. Equipment is open to all students, faculty, and staff. The available equipment is great for podcasts, video interviews, photographs, voiceover recordings, and more. Workstations located in The Makery have the software to edit media.

To get started, complete training and request a reservation (select “Recording”).

Available equipment includes a Rode Rodecaster Pro interface with microphones and headphones, perfect for podcasting or interviews.

For voiceover or other single voice capture, an Electro-Voice RE20 microphone connected to a Focusrite Scarlett is available.

Workstations with editing software are available for use in The Makery locations.
