Celebrating our Newest Team Members

We are thrilled to introduce the newest members of the JMU Libraries team!
Learn more about the folks who have joined our team of JMU Libraries staff and faculty or changed positions in the Libraries since April 2024:
- Joshua Burtner joins us as an Instructional Equipment & Applications Specialist.
- Tanya Corcuera joins us a Night Supervisor for the Music Library.
- Emma Corrao, Music Library Supervisor, has been with the School of Music since 2022 and began working at the Library in the Fall of 2024.
- Tori Groene-Zeigler, now the Director of Technology, has been with the Libraries Technology Department in various roles since 2015.
- Samantha Harmon, Data Services Librarian, believes good data practices are for everyone—and she’s here to make them approachable.
- Xingyi Jiang joins us as a Makerspace Instructor.
- Lorelai Lamoureux, Library Services Supervisor, is excited to work with faculty and students interested in utilizing library resources.
- Jenna Landes joins us as a Makerspace Instructor.
- Chris Michaels joins us as a Delivery Services Specialist.
- Jenna Polk, Assistant Director of Media Production and Makerspace Services, has worked in the Libraries in various roles since 2013.
- Guinevere Pomeroy joins us as a Library Services Supervisor.
- Lizzy Thomas, Music Library Supervisor, is a JMU School of Music alumna and has worked at the Music Library in various roles since fall 2021.
- Zachary Williams, Media Specialist, started in the Makery as a makerspace instructor in 2017 and then worked as a part-time Media Specialist within the Libraries’ Media Production and Makerspace Services Department.
- Anthony Zampino joins us as a Library Services Supervisor.
