Rose Library and Music Library Have Reopened

We are pleased to announce that Rose Library and the Music Library are open again. Thank you for your patience during these temporary closures as we continued moving books, equipment, and offices to support the final stages of the Carrier Library renovation. Carrier Library will reopen on August 3.

• Delivery: Our Delivery Services have resumed. JMU Libraries books from any library location can be requested for delivery to a faculty/staff campus mailbox or a service desk in Rose, ETMC, or the Music Library. Delivery to Carrier’s Ask the Library desk will start in August.

• Equipment: Until August 3, return Equipment Loans to the Ask the Library desk in Rose Library during its hours of operation. Starting August 3, please return equipment to the Learning Innovations & Design desk at its new location in Carrier Library.

• Interlibrary Loan: Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services for physical materials have resumed at Rose, ETMC, and the Music Library. ILL services for physical materials will resume in Carrier Library in August.

• Makery: The Makery in Rose is closed through August 2 as we work to open a second makerspace in Carrier Library in August.

• Media Production: The Video and Audio Production Studio in Rose Library has reopened. Another media studio will open in Carrier Library in August.

We are counting down the days until we can welcome you back into Carrier Library on Monday, August 3!
