Hours and Services for JMU Spring Break

During JMU’s 2026 spring break, Rose Library will offer these hours:

March 13 (Friday): 7:30am-5pm
March 14-15 (Saturday-Sunday): Closed
March 16-19 (Monday-Thursday): 8am-5pm
March 20-21 (Friday-Saturday): Closed
March 22 (Sunday): 12pm-12am

Where to swipe in to the 24/hour space in Rose Library

Look before you leave: Please check the hours and access information for JMU Libraries Express, the Music Library, Special Collections, the Learning Innovations & Design Desk, and The Makery before planning a visit to one of those areas during spring break.

After hours: You can swipe in to the 24-hour space in Rose Library with your JACard and use our wide variety of online resources even when our facilities are closed.

Faculty members have many options to continue working on their research even when we’re closed.
