About me
I serve as the supervisor for the student staff who work on the Ask the Library Desks for Library and Information Services.
I also help coordinate the schedules across locations for the Ask the Library Desks.
About Library and Information Services Department
We connect JMU’s diverse communities with the Libraries’ resources through a holistic approach to front-line services. We staff the main service desks in Rose Library and Libraries Express, as well as coordinate the Ask the Library service. We provide support for checking out materials, help people find library items and electronic resources in our collections, and work closely with other Libraries’ departments to seamlessly connect people with the resources and expertise they need.
About Academic Engagement Unit
Academic Engagement is a new, public-facing division of the Libraries, under formation now. Departments include Library and Information Services, the Music Library, Research & Education Services, and Digital Scholarship and Distinctive Collections, which includes Digital Projects and Special Collections.
