Eva Pierce

Makerspace Instructor

About me

Creativity through learning and application are at the center of my values as a makerspace instructor. I believe that we learn by doing, failing, and trying again. I serve a diverse array of patrons at the Makery, helping people from all different walks of life find accessible and inclusive ways to make their project come to life.

I specialize in wire-wrapped jewelry, visual art, (Procreate, graphite, and acrylic) and wood burning. I find creating something from the bare materials around me really exciting and rewarding, and want to share the freedom to create with those around me.

Outside of the Makery, I am a community organizer and vocalist  with specializations in opera and art song, with an emphasis on integrating justice based practices into a historically inaccessible artform. I received my B.A. in Music Performance from Elon University in 2023 and my M.M. in Music Performance from JMU in 2025.

I’m excited to help you discover what you can create!
