Jared Wark
Makerspace Instructor
About me
I am an instructor, consultant, and technician in The Makery and enjoy making patron projects come to life. I believe we provide an invaluable resource in making creative technology accessible to all, especially those who may not have otherwise had the resources or environment to support such endeavors. I support our mission by providing technical support, leading workshops, and empowering patrons to build and create.
My previous experience is as a hobbyist graphic designer, but since joining the Libraries in 2018 I have worked to broaden those skills to now include other technical knowledge such as 3D modeling, laser engraving, and machine embroidery. I am an expert in Adobe Illustrator and other vector-based workflows and am happy to offer support on unique and challenging projects.
I am also an avid fan of indie video games, a casual collector of LEGO minifigures, and a father of one precious daughter whom I love dearly.
