About me

As liaison librarian, I help students, faculty, and staff effectively gather health information to inform their decision-making, research inquiries and academic endeavors. My main duties include:

• Provide instruction on finding, evaluating, and using health information sources
• Consult with students about health research and tools to manage research (ex: citation tools)
• Select books, journals, databases, videos, and more to support teaching & learning at JMU
• Help instructors understand copyright and fair use as they apply to course materials

About Academic Engagement Unit

Academic Engagement is a new, public-facing division of the Libraries, under formation now. Departments include Library and Information Services, the Music Library, Research & Education Services, and Digital Scholarship and Distinctive Collections, which includes Digital Projects and Special Collections.
