About me
I began my work as Dean of Libraries and Professor of English at James Madison University in July of 2019, and now additionally serve as JMU’s Senior Academic Technology Officer. It’s my privilege to lead the wonderful staff and faculty of the JMU Libraries, in service to our campus community.
Previously: Executive Director of the Digital Library Federation; president of the Association for Computers and the Humanities; CLIR Distinguished Presidential Fellow; faculty member at Rare Book School; research associate professor, UVa English; director of Digital Research & Scholarship, UVa Library; and the founding director of the UVa Scholars’ Lab.
