About me

I have been in the educational field for over two decades, including both K-12 and higher education. I lead the Learning Innovations & Design unit including instructional design, online learning, media production services, makerspaces, digital projects, and classroom technology services to help the JMU community effectively integrate instructional technologies into teaching, learning and research.

Education:

B.S. in Technology Education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University

MS.Ed in Educational Technology at James Madison University

About Dean's Office

The office of the Dean of Libraries includes associate deans for the four major divisions of the JMU Libraries (AE, DATech, LID, and Admin) as well as an executive assistant and senior professional faculty leading strategic initiatives.

About Learning Innovations & Design

We create virtual and physical spaces, programs, and services for the JMU community to enhance, experiment with, and innovate in their teaching, learning, and scholarship.

Departments in this unit include Classroom Technology Services, Educational Technology Services, Instructional Design, Learning Technology Services, and Media Production & Makerspace Services.

About Libraries Administration

We support and challenge JMU Libraries’ staff and faculty to live up to our guiding statements — as we work together to provide excellent library and educational technology resources, spaces, services, and expertise to our campus community. Libraries’ Administration includes Communications and Outreach, Data Analytics, Facilities Operations, Finance and Human Resources, and the office of the Dean.
