24-Hour Study Spaces at JMU

The motivation to do homework can strike at any hour. Sometimes a dorm room, apartment, or common space just doesn’t cut it. JMU has three study spaces that are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Use your JACard to swipe into these spots and get your work done!

  • The Rose Library 24-Hour Space offers comfortable study space, group study rooms, and a computer lab with printers and scanners.
  • The Carrier Library 24-Hour Space is on the ground floor in the Stan & Rosemary Jones wing.
  • Taylor Down Under is open 24 hours a day. Computers and printers are available.
  • The computer lab in the basement of Hillside Hall has over 50 computers, and printing and scanning are available.
